A journey through Norway offers powerful natural experiences, vibrant culture, and ample time to truly enjoy each destination. This 16-day tour takes you from the urban pulse of the capital, Oslo, through deep fjords and historic coastal towns, all the way north to the dramatic archipelago of the Lofoten Islands. Terms and conditions
Registration
After you have registered for a trip, you will immediately receive an email confirming that we have received your registration. This email will include a summary of your booking, which it is important that you review carefully. If the name provided does not match your passport, please contact us immediately, as a fee may apply to change it. It is the participant’s responsibility to ensure that the name on their ticket is correct.
Please note that the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to travel services. This means that the agreement between the parties is considered binding once you have submitted your booking, and the travel terms and conditions of Norsk Tur are thereby accepted.
Within 3 working days, you will receive a separate confirmation email containing an invoice and other practical information. If you wish to receive the invoice by post, a fee of NOK 79 per invoice will apply.
Payment
After booking, you will receive a deposit invoice which must be paid within 7 days. As stated above, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to travel services. If the deposit has not been received in Norsk Tur’s account no later than 2 days after the due date, Norsk Tur may terminate the agreement.
The remaining balance must be paid 10 weeks prior to departure. If the balance has not been paid by the payment deadline and the trip is cancelled after this date, this may result in a claim for payment in accordance with the cancellation terms.
If the trip is booked later than 70 days before departure, the full amount must be paid within 2 working days. Failure to pay within the deadline may result in cancellation of your reservation.
If you wish to cancel your trip, this must be done in writing to Norsk Tur.
Cancellation Terms
Deposit invoice: NOK 5,000 per person
More than 121 days before departure: the organizer retains an administrative fee of NOK 3,500 per person
120-70 days before departure: the organizer retains the paid deposit
69–40 days before departure: 50% of the total invoiced amount
39–0 days before departure: no refund
If you cancel the trip, this must be done in writing to Norsk Tur.
Cancellation and Travel Insurance
We recommend contacting your insurance provider to purchase cancellation insurance. The cancellation insurance must be paid before you pay the deposit for the trip in order to be valid.
Please note that if two people have booked a double room and one person cancels the trip, a single-room supplement will apply to the remaining person.
These terms differ from standard regulations due to obligations to subcontractors. Norsk Tur’s payment and cancellation rules are based on the “General Terms and Conditions for Package Travel” prepared by the Travel Industry Section of HSH and the Consumer Ombudsman. The General Terms and Conditions are designed in accordance with the Package Travel Act and the regulations issued by the Ministry of Children and Family Affairs, and supplement the provisions of the Act and related regulations. The above terms deviate from the general terms set out in the Package Travel Act due to obligations toward subcontractors.
Information on Connecting Flights
Flight Times
The flight times listed in the program are based on the current schedules provided by the airlines. Final flight times will only be confirmed upon ticket issuance, which takes place approximately 3 weeks prior to departure.
In the event of significant schedule changes or a change of airline before ticket issuance, information will be provided.
Connecting Flights
If you wish to depart from another airport in Norway, we can assist you with this. Please contact us well in advance of departure, and you will receive a price quote from us.
Where possible, we book through-tickets, which means that in the event of delays, you are not personally financially responsible.
Connecting Flights Booked Independently
If you book a connecting flight on your own, it will not be issued as a through-ticket, and you will be personally financially responsible.
In the event of delays that cause you to miss the group’s outbound flight or your connecting flight on the return journey, you are responsible for covering the cost of purchasing a new ticket to or from the destination.
We recommend allowing a generous time margin before the group’s scheduled departure, at least 3 hours prior to departure. Normally, your baggage will not be checked through to your final destination, and you will need to collect your luggage and check it in again for your onward journey. This applies to both outbound and return travel.
If the group’s flight times change, you must cover the cost of changing your connecting ticket or purchasing a new ticket if it was booked independently.
Please also note that if the outbound ticket is not used, many airlines automatically cancel the return ticket.
If the booked trip is cancelled and you have independently booked a connecting flight, this cost will not be covered by Norsk Tur.
